You may want to try using a topical form of CBD. Some of my patients have found that topicals with CBD can help provide quick relief to the area that is sore after a workout. To maximize absorption, it is best to first wash the area with soap and water before applying the product to minimize any barriers between the topical and your skin. CBD topicals come in a variety of forms including creams, lotions, salves and even roll-ons which you might find to be a good option to toss in a gym bag.
